STS-133
After 5 launch delays and finally moving it to the end of November, our crew returned home. Disappointed that we didn't witness the launch...but excited to experience the things we were able to see. Our visits to the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) for this mission's expected launch allowed us to see a shuttle on the launch pad and view the machine that carries the shuttle to the launch pad, two things that we wouldn't see on a normal visit. We learned that it takes thousands of people on the ground working as a team to ensure that everything is PERFECT for a launch to happen. We also were happy to see that safety is number 1 with NASA. Thanks NASA for a great experience :-)
